Genomic/Transcriptomic Analyses in Colon and Stomach Cancer Patients in Türkiye
Colorectal and gastric cancers are among the most common malignancies of the gastrointestinal system and rank among the leading causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide. As both cancers are heterogeneous—shaped by factors such as genetic mutations and dietary habits—integrating patient-specific biological data is crucial for effective treatment.
Within the Cancer Genome sub-stage of the National Genome and Bioinformatics Project, genomic and transcriptomic analyses will be conducted to characterize colorectal and gastric cancer cases in the Turkish population and to support efforts in personalized medicine.
