Documentation (Data) and Statistics & Study Monitoring Unit

This unit is responsible for coordinating the departments under the umbrella of the Türkiye Cancer Institute, tracking all internal and external correspondence of the institute, registering and statistically monitoring the studies conducted within the institute, and executing the institute's strategy and internal control mechanisms.

Duties of the Unit:

• To organize Training Programs, Capacity Building Training Programs, and Revision Training Programs within the institute, as required for establishing and developing the Documentation (Data), Statistics, and Study Monitoring capacity.
• To ensure the continuity of the institute's strategic planning, activity reporting, and internal audit processes, and to contribute to the commissions to be established by the Head of the Institute.
• To carry out all kinds of project development, scientific calls, collaboration, coordination, and similar activities related to the institute.
• To carry out activities for the publication of books, journals, and similar materials required within the scope of documentation and statistics resulting from the institute's operations.
• To participate in meetings, training sessions, symposia, and similar scientific activities related to its field of duty, and to conduct project management and collaboration activities.
• To implement the advisory decisions made by the Science Boards within the institute on matters falling under the unit's jurisdiction, provided such decisions are deemed appropriate and referred to the unit by the Head of the Institute.
• To work in coordination with other institutes within TÜSEB and the units of the Cancer Institute.
• To create, store, and keep up-to-date the necessary records and documents related to its field of duty.
• To fulfil other duties assigned by the Head of the Institute.
