ECHOS Project Online Workshop Meeting
Within the scope of the ECHoS-Establishing of Cancer Mission Hubs: Networks and Synergies Project, an online workshop was held on 18 December 2023 with the participation of the President of Turkish Cancer Institute Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu YÜCEL and TÜSEB researchers Dr. Ceren SÜMER and Specialist Tuba ÖZBAY. In the workshop, 6 groups of 11 people were formed and questions such as what should be the main values, priority tasks and activities of Cancer Mission Centres, what should be done for their sustainability, management and administration of consortia and budget resources of the centres were discussed simultaneously in the groups. The workshop lasted approximately two and a half hours and ideas were shared in order to define the definition, scope, potential responsibilities and regulations of the National Cancer Mission Centres to be established.
