EUonQoL 7th Work Package Online Meeting
Within the scope of the 7th work package of the "EUonQoL- Quality of Life in Oncology: measuring what matters for cancer patients and survivors in Europe" project, which aims to evaluate the quality of life of cancer patients in line with the Horizon Europe Program Cancer Mission, in which TÜSEB-Türkiye Cancer Institute is one of the partners and 45 different centers in Europe participate, the "7th Researcher Meeting for Data Collectors" was held online on May 7, 2024 with more than a hundred participants under the leadership of the project coordinator Italy. On behalf of TÜSEB- Türkiye Cancer Institute, R&D Experts Assoc. Prof. Dr. Demet AKDENİZ ÖDEMİŞ, Dr. Gülhan IŞIK ERTOP and İpek Bedir and Project Staff Dr. Ceren SÜMER attended the meeting.
Detailed information was shared about the installation and use of the digital system called "EUonQoL-Kit", which is designed to collect feedback assessments and evaluate the quality of life in cancer patients receiving active treatment, cancer survivors and patients in palliative care in line with the relevant work package objectives. Information was shared about the online field visit to be carried out before the survey to be conducted within the scope of the project. Information was given on how to create records during patient admission to the survey study. After the meeting, it was stated that the next information meeting for data collectors will be held on 04.06.2024.
